With the commissioning of the “Weststrecke”, customers benefit from a new rail link between Luxembourg and the Trier region. From 3 March 2025, the west of Trier is well connected to rail traffic from/to Luxembourg with five additional stops (Trier-West, Trier-Pallien, Trier-Zewen, Trier-Euren, Trier-Hafenstrasse).

Take the direct trains connecting Luxembourg station to Trier twice an hour! With the "Tagesrückfahrkarte", choose to travel in 2nd or 1st class from any Luxembourg railway station to Trier. The “Fahrradtageskarte Nahverkehr 2. Klasse” allows you to take your bike easily with you.
