The CFL express bus line

Luxemburg-Saarbrücken-Express L40

Set off from Luxembourg train station to reach Saarbrücken, one of the main German railway hubs, in 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Travel to cities such as Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Innsbruck, Salzburg and more with Deutsche Bahn ICE, EC or IC trains.

Whether you're looking for a day trip to Saarbrücken and its Baroque architecture, just a stone's throw from the border, or to get to your train connections, find the right offer here:

Children under the age of 12 are entitled to free transport if accompanied by a person of at least 12 years of age in possession of a valid "RegioZone2" transport ticket. However, if the journey is entirely made abroad, this free of charge isn't granted. Children under 6 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Students may travel free of charge, see the conditions here.

For a quick and unrestricted purchase of your short-term (2-hour) or long-term (1-day) RegioZone ticket, excluding subscriptions, simply get it from the CFL vending machines located at Luxembourg station, near bus platform or in front of the Sales Centre.

The possibility of purchasing your RegioZone 1 or RegioZone 2 tickets via the CFL mobile app or at ticket offices remains unchanged. The RegioZone offer is not valid for international train journeys.

The "Deutschlandticket" fare is not valid on the Saarbrücken-Express L40 route.
