CFL actions for the Vëlosummer 2024 :

  • Luxembourg - Troisvierges - Gouvy line: continued increase in train frequency started last April and running until 29 September 2024. A train will link the capital to the north of the country every 30 minutes on the entire northern line on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays (from 8am to 6pm);
  • Installation of appropriate signage will be put in place at stations and train stops where tours depart;
  • Around thirty additional CFL staff will be mobilized each weekend to assist cycling customers boarding and disembarking at 14 stations and rail stops and on the trains, with the support of security guards on the trains, particularly during "weekends around the rail".
During these weekends, participants can take a ring circuit departing from one or more stations and railway stops:

On the Luxembourg - Troisvierges - Gouvy line:
  • Uewersauer Tour : 27-28.07 (Goebelsmühle);
  • VeloViaNorden: 03-04.08 (Wilwerwiltz, Clervaux, Troisvierges) and 10-   11.08 (Wilwerwiltz, Clervaux, Troisvierges, Kautenbach);
  • Sir-Uelzechtdall Tour: 17-18.08 and 24-25.08 (Pfaffenthal-Kirchberg);
  • Draï Dëller Tour: 24-25.08 (Ettelbruck).

On the Luxembourg – Wasserbillig – Trier line :

Bicycles can only be transported as long as there are seats available on the trains and given the expected crowds of cyclists on trains at weekends throughout the Vëlosummer, we strongly recommend that you plan an alternative timetable or connection.

Before setting off, remember to check the timetables.

For your own safety and that of other passengers, access doors, corridors and access to the driver's cabin must be kept clear.

As a reminder, it is strictly forbidden to ride your two-wheeler on the platform or in the stations. Bicycles, like any other two-wheeled vehicle, must be hand-held.

Bicycles can only be transported if there are enough seats available on the trains. Otherwise plan alternative connections.
