Improved train offer from 15.12.2024

This year, the timetables of CFL trains and those of other European railway companies are changing. For some CFL train users, these new time adjustments mean an extension of the offer.

Longwy - Rodange - Bascharage - Sanem - Luxembourg

Starting on 15 December 2024, customers of the Luxembourg – Bascharage-Sanem – Rodange – Longwy (and vice versa) line will benefit from two additional round trips during peak hours, from Monday to Friday:

In the direction Longwy -  Luxembourg

• First departure scheduled at 5:46

In the direction Luxembourg - Longwy

• Last departure at 19:30

You want to park your car in Longwy?

With the new timetables, residents of the agglomeration community of Longwy who provide proof of employment in Luxembourg and a valid ticket will benefit from free parking at the new P R of Longwy (640 spaces near the station).

Rumelange - Noertzange

Thanks to the adaptation of train and bus schedules, as well as the time spent on connecting trains at Noertzange station, your waiting time is reduced from 9 to 4 minutes on average at Noertzange station to reach Luxembourg.

Gare Lorraine Express

The P+R Howald is no longer served by the Gare Lorraine Express shuttle. This enables you to save 10 minutes on your journey time from Luxembourg station.

Five additional stops served in the west of the city of Trier

From 3 March 2025, customers travelling to and from the Trier region (Germany) will benefit from a new regional train offer. Thanks to the reactivation of the "Weststrecke" along the west side of the Moselle, the service from and to Wittlich will now be on this new route which serves five new stations namely Trier-Zewen, Trier-Euren, Trier-West, Trier-Pallien and Trier-Hafenstraße. For customers travelling to or from Konz, a regional train (RB 87) serving all stops between Trier Hbf and Luxembourg has been set up during peak times.
