Have a break in Luxembourg's Little Switzerland

In the Mullerthal Region to relax.
By train or bus, instead of car.

The Müllerthal region ("Mëllerdall" in Luxembourgish), also known as the "Luxembourg’s Little Switzerland" because of its hilly landscape reminiscent of Switzerland, is very popular among hiking and climbing enthusiasts.

The fauna and flora scattered throughout the "Natur- and Geopark Mëllerdall," which is part of the UNESCO Global Geoparks network, as well as the unique geological and rocky heritage, are key to the fame of this northeastern part of the Grand Duchy.

If it's not for a sporty hike along the 112 kilometers of trails through this region, enjoy the breathtaking panoramas of the area at your own pace, whether with family or friends. You are planning an overnight stay? Don't miss Echternach, the "capital" of the Müllerthal region. The oldest town in Luxembourg offers some sights worth seeing, such as the Abbey Museum, the Roman Villa, or the Basilica of Saint Willibrord.
